Changing Lives, Changing Business by Michael Moynagh
Changing Lives, Changing Business addresses emerging demographic trends in Britain. The 'shape' of our population and of our lives are changing all the time, and the business world is having to form plans now on how to deal with how the workforce will look in 20 years' time. Accessible and informative, this book offers decision-makers an overview of what lies ahead. Tackling tough questions - will retirement disappear? will we produce enough babies to have a workforce in the future? - its unique perspective makes it a must-read for business students, managers and recruiters alike. Praise for Going Global: 'The book draws information from a wide variety of sources and presents it in an easily digested form that will appeal to a wide audience.' Professional Manager (Jan 2008) 'Going Global offers that rare combination in a book - lots of accessible facts, the drawing of important links between seemingly loosely related subjects, and clarity of analysis. Read it.' People Management (March 2008)
'Since 1961 men have nearly doubled the amount of work they do around the house' - this study is part of a new book, Changing lives, Changing Business' Sunday Times
