Steve Antony is an award-winning writer and illustrator of many children’s books, eight of which have been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal. He is best known for his ongoing Mr Panda series which has sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Steve is Swindon Libraries Patron to Children’s Reading Services, an ambassador for the National Literacy Trust and was named the School Library Association's School Libraries Champion. Steve is colour vision deficient, more commonly known as colour-blind. He lives in South West England with his husband and cat.
