A Chorus of Cockerels by Anna Nicholas

When Annas PR agency in London is merged, she finds herself with more time to explore the culture and history of the island that she calls home (along with her 40 hens and cockerels, cats, frogs, donkeys and Johnny the Toad). With a colourful cast of characters, A Chorus of Cockerels reveals that theres never a dull moment in Mallorca.

As a freelance journalist, Anna Nicholas has contributed to titles that include The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times, Independent, Daily Mail, Daily Express, Evening Standard, Tatler and UltraTravel. She contributes a monthly column to Telegraph Expat and a weekly column to Majorca Daily Bulletin. She is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has been an international adjudicator for The Guinness Book of Records. Together with explorer Colonel John Blashford-Snell, OBE, she once organised an expedition to carry a grand piano to the remote Wai Wai tribe in Guyana which was the subject of a BBC2 TV documentary. Anna runs an international marathon annually on behalf of her favourite charities. Her author website is at www.anna-nicholas.com and she can be found tweeting @MajorcanPearls
