Christ All Merciful by Mckenna
While eighteen beautiful, glowing icons lead us to see God face to face, the accompanying reflections call us to become this image of God, to put on the new life of Christ. As they have throughout the centuries, icons lead us, teach us, inspire us, and draw us into the presence of God. In the words of Megan McKenna, The icon is a way for the friends of Christ to share in his mysteries, in the sacraments, and to come to know the Father as Jesus knew him in the flesh. . . . Each icon reveals a different facet of who Jesus is and what he has done in creation.
