Classic American Heavy Trucks by Niels Jansen
Niels Jansen's first book, "Pictorial History of American Trucks", covered all classes of truck, from light local delivery wagons to long-haul heavy articulated vehicles. This title differs in that it discusses only three types of heavy truck - classes 6, 7 and 8 - and the author concentrates on those trucks which have acquired the status of "classic". Trucks from about 40 manufacturers over the past 50 years are featured, with four or five models from each manufacturer highlighted.
