Seventy nine models are featured in this wonderfully illustrated collection, from Morgan to Maserati, Pontiac to Porsche, Aston Martin to Ferrari these are the finest cars of the post-war period at their beautiful best. This book sets the scene decade by decade and uses superb photography to highlight the stars. Here, you will find reference to most of the models that are accepted as classics today or will be acknowledged in future. Some are rare and expensive, many more are the cars which you yourself may have aspired to when they were new. These pages will reawaken those dreams.

After seven years, he became the director at Aston Martin and Zagato, Milan. In 1990, he joined Yamaha to develop their Grand Prix supercar; before he returned to freelance journalism. Along the way he has owned and raced classic cars and has served on the FIA Historic Commission.
