Laurie Ann Callihan, Ph.D., graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, with a master's degree in science education. She also has a bachelor's degree in science. Christian Heritage College in El Cajon, California, awarded him a bachelor's degree in biology. She was a University Fellow for the School of Teacher Education at Florida State University in 2009. She has fifteen years of experience teaching science in the classroom, with skills in natural science topic delivery, curriculum building, and teaching in a variety of classroom settings.
She is the author of a number of K-20 scientific curriculum, publications, and academic materials. ABOUT OUR EDITORSStephen Hart is a science, medicine, and technology writer and editor. Hart went on to get his M.A.T. after specializing in zoology. at the University of Washington in Biology.
