This book is designed for health care professionals involved in the treatment of neurologic and musculoskeletal dysfunction. This book is organized by anatomic region, and although each region is discussed as a unit, every effort is made to clarify continuities between regions. The discussion of each region includes sections on the bones, articulations, muscles, and neurovascular structures as well as surface anatomy. The latter subject is of particular importance because much of the clinical evaluation of the musculoskeletal system is noninvasive and based on physical examination.
