She was previously the Economist's top contemporary art correspondent, and she has written for a variety of magazines, including Artforum, the Guardian, and the New Yorker, as well as contributing to BBC, NPR, and ZDF broadcasts. She has given presentations and participated in panels at museums, universities, and literary festivals all around the world as a frequent guest speaker. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in art history and a doctorate in sociology. She is based in London.
