Colette's Cakes by Colette Peters

Using step-by-step instructions, the author shows amateurs and more experienced bakers alike how to decorate over 30 cakes: a Faberge jewellery box for Mother's Day, an intricately woven Christmas wreath, or a many-tiered wedding cake draped with delicate lace.

Colette Peters is a celebrated cake decorator who has created confections for the White House Christmas mantelpieces, royal weddings, Tiffany & Company's Fagship shop in New York City, and the American Craft Museum. She possesses a master's degree in painting from Pratt Institute in New York and is the owner of Colette's Cakes, a gourmet cake company in New York. She designed cakes to illustrate the books Tiffany Taste and The Tiffany Wedding as a former designer for Tiffany & Company. Colette's Birthday Cakes and Colette's Christmas are two featuring her four acclaimed volumes of her own beautiful cakes. She has appeared on Today, Good Morning America, Oprah, and the Food Network's Chef du Jour, among other shows.
