Colors Flying by Cabe Lindsay
A musician plays night and day, through sun and rain. Shooting stars and soaring birds show up. And then, an angelic choir lifts the music higher. Visually vibrant and colorful, this is a story that calls young artists to bring their creative fire into the world.
Cabe Lindsay is an author with works including children's literature, a fiction novel series, and a full-length album of original songs, along with creative nonfiction. He describes his big idea as follows: In my experience as an art director, I've found that the secret to a successful campaign is to find clarity first. For me, clarity comes when I sit quietly, with closed eyes and an open mind. Instead of frantically tossing around ideas, or firing keystrokes and mouse clicks, or doodling on a sketchpad, I aim for the opposite-I become a human being instead of a human doing. Here, in the stillness, I listen for the voice of my superconscience, whom I call The Youniverse, while the layers of clouds drift away.
