Shen Roddie was born in Singapore and lived in many countries before settling in Oxford. Her love of words led her to become an author via a number of other careers including time spent as a journalist, copywriter and radio presenter. Ben Cort is the illustrator of the phenomenally succesful Aliens Love Underpants (Simon & Schuster) and many other popular books, including THE SHARK IN THE DARK for Macmillan and MUDDLE JUNGLE (978-1-4050-5436-2) for Campbell Books. Ben lives in Bedfordshire with his young family.
