Commando Medic by Stephen Snelling
Eric Harden was the only British army medic to be awarded the nations highest honour for battlefield bravery during the Second World War and remains the only rank and file member of the Royal Army Medical Corps to be recognised by the award of the Victoria Cross.
Stephen Snelling is a senior journalist with Eastern Counties Newspapers based in Norwich. He has also written several other titles in the VCs of the First World War series: Naval VCs, Air VCs, and Passchendaele. Stephen is a member of the Military Historical Society and the Gallipoli Association.
