Crazy Creatures by Jonathan Long
Join a dumb dog, a flea-ridden cat, and a duck with no sense of direction in this fantastic collection of stories from Jonathan Long and Korky Paul. The stories are told in rhyme with many spreads featuring comic-strip styling and are perfect for reading aloud and sharing. Three entertaining escapades are here for young animal lovers to enjoy in one bright and beautiful book.
Jonathan Long was born in Birmingham, but spent his childhood in Nottingham. He gained a degree in English Literature at Cambridge University, and now lives in Hackney, London, where he works as a copywriter for an advertising agency. Korky Paul, born in Zimbabwe, is a well-known illustrator. His drawings appear in more than 25 Winnie books, as well as many other poetry anthologies and picture books. Known only to himself as 'the world's greatest portrait artist', Korky visits schools to promote his passion for drawing. He lives in Oxford with his wife where he regularly cooks on the 'braai'.
