Bill Gardner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrated Science and Technology at Marshall University, where he teaches information security and fundamental technology courses. He also works for BlackRock Consulting as President and Principal Security Consultant. Bill is also the Appalachian Institute of Digital Evidence's Vice President and Information Security Chair. AIDE is a non-profit organization that does research and offers training to digital evidence specialists such as lawyers, judges, law enforcement officers, and private-sector information security professionals. Bill co-founded the Hack3rCon convention and 304blogs before joining the Marshall faculty, and he continues to serve as Vice President of 304Geeks. Bill is also a founder member of the Security Awareness Training Framework, which will be the book's primary target audience.
