Sam Hawkins, the author of many tens of cross stitch books including Sam Hawkins Celebrates Cross Stitch. Susan Penny, one of the founder editors of Needlecraft, Cross Stitcher and Cross Stitch Collection. Helen Philipps, a greeting card designer and author of two cross stitch books, most recently Helen Philipps Cross Stitch Garden Notebook. Mari Richards, a regular contributor to many of the popular cross stitch magazines and designer of cross stitch cards for Impress. Lesley Teare, one of DMC's leading embroidery designers. Anne E Wilson, a freelance designer, who trained in fine art at the Glasgow School of Art.
