Crowning Glory by Pat Simmons

Pat Simmons describes herself as a genealogist sleuth. She is obsessed with studying her forebears, whom she subsequently casts as protagonists in her books. She thinks that by using an unconventional approach, she would be able to locate down distant relatives who happen to pick up her books. She's been interested in genealogy since the death of her great-grandmother in 1988, when she was 97 years old. Pat has a bachelor's degree in science.

Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, awarded her a bachelor's degree in mass communications. For more than two decades, she has worked in radio, television, and print in various capacities. She is currently in charge of media relations for the yearly RT Booklovers Conferences. She has nine single titles and several eBook novellas to her credit.

Speak to Me, listed #14 on Black Pearls Magazine's Top Books That Changed Lives in 2008, is one of her award-winning works. With Still Guilty (2010) and Crowning Glory (2011), she won the Romance Slam Jam Emma Rodgers Award for Best Inspirational Romance twice. Guilty of Love is one of her best-selling novels, as is the Jamieson Legacy series, which includes Guilty by Association, The Guilt Trip, and Free from Guilt. In 2013, she released The Acquittal (a Guilty Parties story). Pat has turned her couch-bound, sports-obsessed husband into an untrained travel agent, bodyguard, and GPS-guided driver.
