Prof.Dr.Dr Albrecht Beutelspacher is a professor of mathematics at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen and the director and founder of the first mathematischen Mitmach-Museum in Gießen, the Mathematikum. He has received numerous awards for his work as a top vermittler and popularizer of mathematics. He was awarded the Archimedes Prize of the MNU, the first Communicator Prize of the Stifterverband für Deutsche Wissenschaft, the Deutscher IQ Prize, the Hessischer Kulturpreis, and Hessischer Verdienstorden, among others.
