Gina Shaw has been an editor of children's books for the past 40 years. She has edited novelty books, picture books, easy readers, early chapter books, and middle grade chapter books. Throughout her career, she has also written both fiction and nonfiction novelty books, easy readers, and early chapter books. She was the Editorial Director of Scholastic's Book Club Original Publishing from 2000-2008. Gina has been teaching a children's book writing course at Hofstra University for the past five years. She is now a freelance writer and editor.
