The Economist's UK editor is Tom Wainwright. He was the Economist's Mexico City bureau chief until 2013, covering Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, as well as parts of South America and the US border region. He's been a pharma industry pundit on CNN, the BBC, and NPR, among others. He graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree in philosophy, politics, and economics. Wainwright is an English author who lives in London.
