Czech Republic by Marc Di Duca
From its beautiful and bustling medieval capital to undulating counrtyside and snow-capped mountains, the Czech Republic is truly enchanting. Vibrant and varied, it is peppered with sleepy provincial towns, dramatic hilltop castles and unspoilt woodland - offering rich rewards for those visitors willing to look beyond the much-loved Prague.
Marc Di Duca has lived in the former Czechoslovakia for ten years. Initially going there to tutor Czechs in English, he became fascinated with all aspects of the country. He has recently been working for the Czech Tourist Authority in London but intends to return to Bohemia to study Czech language and literature in Prague's University.
