Izzy loves Silver Spires boarding school. Having trained as a ballerina, she auditioned for The Royal Ballet School and was devastated when she failed to get in - so much so that she vowed never to dance again. Ann is both an author and a musician. Trained at the Royal College of Music, Ann taught music for nine years, and wrote theme tunes for various children's BBC programmes, before becoming an author. Ann now teaches music and drama as well as writing children's fiction and educational music materials.
