Welsh writer Gary Dobbs is the man behind the hugely successful series of Jack Martin western novels, including the award-winning titles, The Ballad of Delta Rose, The Afterlife of Slim McCord and Tarnished Star. He has also written comic books, radio plays and works for the stage.
As an historian, he penned the successful Cardiff and the Valleys at War 1939–1945, Dark Valleys and other titles for the Pen & Sword stable.
