The Day of the Peacock by Geoffrey Aquilina Ross

In the 1960s men's fashion witnessed an extraordinary rebirth that led to lasting social, cultural and commercial change - what media commentators came to coin the Peacock Revolution. This title takes a look at the shops, celebrity photographers, tailors and fashionable dressers who made up the scene.

During the 1960s he was the first male Fashion Editor at Vogue. Named FashionWriter of the Year in 1972, he has also lectured on Fashion at Central St Martins. Christopher Breward is Head of Research at the V&A. His previous publications include Fashion and Modernity (2005) and Swinging Sixties (V&A 2006).
