Dear Little Wolf by Ian Whybrow

From picture books to novels for older children, Ian Whybrow has had a lot of success. He's most renowned for his creative humour, and he always writes with both adults and children in mind. He has a fantastic ear for voices and takes great satisfaction in the fact that his work reads beautifully aloud. 'As a kid, I liked being read to,' he says. 'I also liked the feeling that my parents were having a good time.' That, to me, is the litmus test for every book: that it has something for everyone to enjoy.
