Dedalus Book of Medieval Literature by Brian O Murdoch

Professor Emeritus of German at Stirling University in Scotland, Brian Murdoch has also held visiting fellowships or lectureships at Oxford and Cambridge. He's written a lot about medieval and Renaissance literature, particularly biblical books. In the modern age, he has specialized on World War I literature (particularly Erich Maria Remarque) and has translated novels by Remarque, Walter Flex, and contemporary German authors, as well as medieval classics in German and Latin.
