1930. Fifth Impression. 318 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Green cloth. Signed by the author to front endpaper, with inscription "with best wishes". With photographic frontispiece. Pages have notable foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing and tanning more intense towards start and end of book and on text block edges. Gutters somewhat cracked with some exposed netting. Binding is firm. Printed letter stuck to front pastedown, with adhesive marks. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Several minor dents to board edges. Spine is noticeably sunned to ends. Book has a moderate forward lean.
