He teaches for Robinson College of Cambridge University on the Natural Science Tripos and is a lecturer for the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education. He was formerly a senior lecturer in Earth Sciences at Trinity College, Dublin and spent two years as an exhibition co-ordinator at the National Museum of Wales. He presently lives with his wife in Cambridge.
