Doll'S House Furniture by Margaret Towner
This title begins with a description of dolls' houses themselves, as homes for the furniture. The author then traces the history and design of the furniture with full-colour photographs displaying the enormous variety of materials used in their manufacture, as well as the pieces themselves.
Margaret Towner's passion for doll's houses and their furniture began over 25 years ago when she bought some pieces at a market. Since then she has been an avid collector of miniature furniture and has researched many aspects of housing on a small scale. She is particularly interested in the makers of the furniture and is an expert in identifying manufacturers. She is a member of the Doll's House Society, and has written many articles for International Doll's House News.
