Trudeau's Pulitzer Prize-winning comic strip has been running for more than four decades. Trudeau has worked in theater, film, and television in addition to cartooning. He's also written for the New York Times op-ed page as a contributing columnist and later for Time magazine as an essayist. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He and his wife, Jane Pauley, live in New York City. They are the parents of three grown children.
