Mike is a California native who has lived all around the country, from the west to the east coast. He can't recall a time when he didn't have a book in his hands. At school, at home, on vacation, at work during lunch, and yes, even a few pages in the car (when he couldn't put that wonderful book down). Although reading a wide range of genres, he has always been drawn to fantasy. It's his way of escaping to a simpler time when young men and women were full of enchantment, miracles, and heroism.

Mike has always enjoyed being outside, in addition to reading. From the beaches of Southern California to the warm waters of North Carolina, there's something for everyone. From the Northwest's waterfalls to Utah's Rocky Mountains. Mike has been moved by the beauty that God has bestowed upon us.

Hiking, exploring outdoors, a little basketball or volleyball, and, most lately, disc golf are among his favorite pastimes. He is married to a wonderful woman who has always been supportive of him, and he has three wonderful children who have always been the center of his life. Mike started writing stories when he was in elementary school and progressed to larger books in his early adulthood. He has spent the majority of his career in corporate finance.

That, combined with his commitments at church and time with his great family, has made it tough to devote time to writing. In recent years, as his children have grown older, he has returned to doing what he loves most: writing!
