Katie Dale's first poem, The Fate of the School Hamster, was published in the Cadbury's Book of Children's Poetry when she was eight years old, and she hasn't stopped since! She won the SCBWI Undiscovered Voices competition, which launched her writing career, after studying as an actress and toured the country as Shakespeare's Juliet. She has written books for children as young as two years old up to teenagers, and her works have won numerous honors and have been published all over the world. Her first novel for Macmillan Children's Books is Mumnesia.
