Stella Ruhe has a background in textiles. She was a teacher visual in the AVO, publisher / editor for the publishing Cantecleer (including the series Textile Proficient for primary and countless books specializing in textiles) and faculty supervisor and co-developer of learning content and teaching methodology in the department of visual arts of various projects of the National Educational Centers.
