Karen Kraal is an anthropologist affiliated with the IMES and responsible for the communication and dissemination programme of IMISCOE. Rinus Penninx (ed.) is professor of ethnic studies at the University of Amsterdam, and co-ordinator of the IMISCOE Network of Excellence (International Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe). He also holds the European co-chair of International Metropolis, a worldwide network of research and policy institutions relating to immigration and integration in large cities. Maria Berger is a political scientist and a research advisor for the city of Delft.
