Jon Turk is a Ph.D. candidate. In 1971, he received his bachelor's degree in chemistry, published the first environmental science textbook in North America, and worked as an environmental science writer for the next 40 years. He's also participated in a number of severe outdoor adventures. National Geographic named Jon's tour of Ellesmere Island as one of the top ten adventures of 2011. He's published three books about his bodily and spiritual experiences on his way to a Consciousness Revolution. Turk splits his time between Fernie, British Columbia, and Darby, Montana, when he is not traveling.
