Electrical and Electronic Principles and Technology by John Bird
Introduces electrical principles and technology through examples rather than theory. This book includes chapters on semiconductor diodes and transistors as well as sections on batteries, fuel cells and alternative and renewable energies, relative and absolute voltages, self and mutual inductance, and virtual test and measuring instruments.
[This book gives] information in a concise and accurate way and presents most of the information in 'worked example' formThis allows you to get your teeth into the subject without having to first of all wade through lots of over elaborate theory. An excellent 'dip' and learn book. Amazon.co.uk review of the previous edition
