Alexei Kosikov is a Ukrainian chess master who has had a long and successful career as a chess educator. He has coached a diverse group of chess players, including nine grandmasters, the most notable of which are Vladimir Baklan and Dmitry Komarov. He has written extensively about chess, particularly combinations, and was a frequent lecturer at the Yusupov/Dvoretsky elite chess school, where he also contributed to the training manuals.
