Elf Hill by Naomi Lewis

Here is a wonderful toy-box overflowing with sparkling new versions of Hans Christian Andersen stories, written for young children with all the warmth, wit and character of the 19th-century originals. Emma Chichester-Clark's combination of magical images combine with Naomi Lewis's beautiful writing to make this an anthology which will be sought after, much-read and greatly treasured.
"A must for any fan of fairy tales, told with rare and often heart-stopping elegance, and luminously illustrated" The Sunday Times
Naomi Lewis is a leading authority on the writing of Hans Andersen, She herself is a distinguished children's writer, poet, anthologister and a much-respected reviewer of children's books.
