O. John Ma, MD is Professor and Chair of Emergency Medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Ma is a prolific author, editor, and educator. Most recently, Dr. Ma received the 2005 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Excellence in Ultrasound Education Award. James R.
