David Cabrelli joined Edinburgh Law School in June 2007, and has lectured and taught employment and labour law for over seventeen years. Prior to that, he was in legal practice for six years, specializing in employment, commercial and corporate law. David's research interests lie in the field of labour law, particularly the common law, and statutory regulation of the contract of employment. He has published papers in a number of leading academic journals in the field of labour law, and his research has been cited by the UK Supreme Court, The Hong Kong High Court, the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of South Australia, the Scottish Law Commission and the Law Commission.
