He is an elected member of the BPS Psychology Education Board and Co-Director of the National Science Learning Centre's Conversion Course for Teachers wishing to teach Psychology.Julia Russell is an experienced teacher of Psychology, having been a Head of Department for 14 years. She currently teaches at The Queen's School, Chester. She is a former Principal Examiner, and has examining experience with a number of Awarding Bodies, including AQA. She has served on the steering committees of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology and the Education Committee for the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour. Julia is a highly prolific and successful author, having written and co-written 16 textbooks, and has previously collaborated on successful resources for the AQA 'A' specifications.
