Winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Winner of the 2019 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Fairview had its world premiere at Soho Rep (Off-Broadway) in the Spring of 2018. Fairview will have another New York run in June 2019 at Theatre for a New Audience in Brooklyn. Jackie Sibblies Drury is also the author of Really, Social Creatures, and We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915. Really was published in the September 2016 issue of American Theatre magazine Drury is a Brooklyn based playwright and her plays have been presented on Off-broadway stages and developed at Sundance, The Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep, Manhattan Theatre Club, and Arts Nova, among others. Drury's work has been developed at Sundance Film Festival, Bellagio Center for the Performing Arts, Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep, and Soho Rep. Among these are the Writer/Director Lab, New York Theatre Workshop, Bushwick Starr, LARK, and MacDowell Colony.
