Falconry by Emma Ford
This guide contains current techniques and developments in the age-old sport of falconry, together with photographs especially shot for the book. The author founded and runs the British School of Falconry.
Emma and Stephen Ford own and run the British School of falconry at the world famous Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire PH3 1EB, Scotland and also the North American Falconers School in Vermont, USA. Emma herself is highly promotable and photogenic, as well as being the top British female falconer. The Barbour clothing company have used her in advertising,- with and without falcon. She won over the sales force by presenting her book armed with a peregrine falcon and then caused a great stir at the London Book Fair by promoting the book with a hunting eagle on her arm.
