Stevie Shaw is a married and proud father of four, grandfather to six. Born in Bradford he emigrated to the west of the Pennines on leaving school. He has a degree in social psychology and had used his skills in his career supporting ethnic minority people and with the Alzheimer's Society. In recent years he has spent much of his time in Fuerteventura. A love of the place inspired his writing, and his first three novels were set there. The Fellowship is the third story featuring detective Shelly King, and he is currently working on her fourth adventure.
