Finding Christmas by Luella Becher
A collection of seasonal short stories and poems that take the reader away from the commercialism of Christmas to the true and more meaningful and lasting reason that individuals and families gather during this joyous season - to celebrate the birth of Christ and to enjoy togetherness at Christmas.
Derek has written numerous short stories and poetry. The main topics that he focuses on are (1) 'seasonal/holiday' pieces and (2) 'trail-logues' - stories of his hiking experiences . It is his love for family gatherings (especially at Christmas, but throughout the year) and for exploring the 'Great Outdoors' that have inspired Derek to write and to record his experiences and adventures.
