The Fish that Talked by Rosie Dickins

When Manu rescues a tiny fish from the stream, he has no idea what lies in store. Soon, the world is in danger and only the fish can help. First Reading Level 3 are real books for beginner readers which develop reading stamina through simple, repetitive text. Includes several pages of reading-related puzzles. Part of the Usborne Reading Programme developed with reading experts at the University of Roehampton.
Rosie Dickins grew up in England and Hong Kong. An avid reader, she always loved dreaming up her own stories. After studying literature at Oxford University, art in Paris and plenty of travelling, she settled in London, where she works for Usborne Publishing. She has written over a hundred children's books, from award-winning information books to fiction.
