Food Chain by Mp Robertson
A fun story of bad behaviour and its consequences. A small pet fish is flushed down the toilet by a very naughty boy. Once the small fish journeys out to sea we then see, one by one, small fish become the dinner for bigger ones. Eventually a fisherman catches the largest fish, which ends up on the plate of . . . the naughty boy! This light-hearted tale then shows the naughty boy on the beach, where he meets a hungry whale and finally gets his comeuppance.
`The wonderful illustrations and dark humour will delight youngsters’ The Irish Examiner; `Although a little gross at the beginning (boy humour), this book of few words is hilarious. Don’t read it if you are in a designated quiet area ... My favourite part in this 10/10 read was the last page - you don't mess with a family of fish with sharp teeth!’ Nayu’s Reading Corner
