Foxly's Feast by Owen Davey
Foxly's tummy is rumbling, he's on the hunt for things eat. He visits the farmyard, fish pond and rabbit's burrow. Are the animals in danger? No, vegetarian Foxly is collecting fruit and vegetables for them all to share! In the absence of words, the wonderful illustrations are enhanced by the readers own imagination!
Owen grew up near Brighton and graduated from University College Falmouth, gaining a first in illustration. He describes his style as contemporary and nostalgic and likes to use a palette of warm, muted colours. He works with traditional and digital media. Owen's impressive debut book, Foxly's Feast, won the 'Highly Commended' in the 2009 Macmillan Children's Book Prize.
