From Cape Wrath to Finisterre by Bjorn Larsson

Tells the story of how Bjorn Larsson came to write his dark novel The Celtic Ring about the disappearance of a sailor, arms smuggling and a secret Druidic cult. This title describes a different way of life, a life with the sea, which unites the people of the Celtic fringe of Europe.
'He has written an unusual book which must stimulate any reader to consider how they experience the world' -- John de Falbe The Spectator It's a paen to the virtues of restlessness and liberty. -- Giles Foden Conde Nast Traveller May 2012
Bjorn Larssons' passion is sailing. He spends his summers on board of his boat and the rest of the year teaching French literature at the University of Lund. Larsson has written two novels which were translated into English: Long John Silver (The Harvill Press, 1999)and The Celtic Ring(Seafarer Books, 2001). Cape Wrath, the non-fiction background story to The Celtic Ring, was his most successful book in his native Sweden and received a prestiguous travel writing award in France.
