Gadfly for God by Bernard Palmer
The "Church Times" is the oldest surviving Anglican weekly newspaper. Founded in 1863 by a London printer, George Josiah Palmer, to help forward the ideals of the Oxford Movement, its history over the past century and a quarter mirrors the history of the Church of England itself. This book looks at the history of the paper from both a personal and a historical perspective, looking at the men and women who have worked on the paper, including former Prime Minister Edward Heath.
